A faster escape is a shorter path through the same loop. It is not a secret door.
Order that keeps stations busy
- Grab a valuable potato if it is already close, then finish one collect, peel, and sell.
- Get the early bucket. Reviewed runs put the first useful capacity at 50 potatoes.
- Upgrade pickup until that bucket fills without a long hold.
- Keep the manual peeler current so the station is not the wait.
- At about 2,500 peels, decide whether the Hand Peeler is faster than the tool in your hands. Cranking a weak machine can be slower than a good knife.
- Feed the Auto Peeler in the background. Do not stand still watching a slow queue.
- When the key appears, leave for the vault.
One route description also lists later carry sizes of 125 and then 450 potatoes. Those sizes were not on the screenshot that confirmed the 50-potato bucket. Read the container's label.
Co-op is the large time cut
Recorded group runs in one lobby were talked about in the 33 to 50 minute range. A solo clear in the same conversation was estimated at over an hour. These are observations from that session, not a certified world record.
The split that session used: one player gathers, another peels. Because wallets were described as separate, say out loud who is buying the machine.
Times that do not transfer
Infinite storage, a permanent vacuum, and one-round auto peel remove the waits a free run still has. A video can show the vault and still be a bad clock to chase. The Fastest Runs board is the in-game list. A number spoken in a video is not that board.
What not to detour for
- Sell-price upgrades, if the goal is the clock rather than Cash.
- Rare potatoes that take you off a productive face of the pile.
- Clearing the mountain after the key is already in your hands.
- Any route that depends on a code. No code is confirmed.
Re-check this order if Chapter 2 changes machines or the peel checkpoint.
